Max Verstappen led a stormer of a race at his teams home Grand Prix in Austria. After suffering an anti stall at Lights Out and falling back from second to sixth place, the twenty one year old managed a heroic recovery race storming onto the top step of the podium!
The Austrian Grand Prix should be written in to the history books as a classic, with the next generation of drivers battling it out in the grid. Verstappen and Leclerc's incredible wheel to wheel racing didn't go un missed with an FIA investigation launched into Verstappen's victorious overtake, which inevitably delayed the announcement of the official winner by a further three hours after Lights out.

Along with Verstappen and Red Bull's first victory this season also comes Honda's first victory since Jenson Button in Japan in 2006! As such, it was an emotional day for the whole of Red Bull and their engine suppliers, especially after such a tumultuous return to the sport with McLaren in 2015.
Unfortunately for Max's second place rival, Charles Leclerc, he is yet to secure a Formula 1 win after being overtaken a mere few laps from the checkered flag. But with Charles being just twenty one years old his time will come, a victory the whole paddock and army of fans are awaiting.

But it's safe to say, Formula 1 has got it's mojo back with good, hard, 'elbows out' racing!
